How SignalRank Works

SignalRank is our transparent, fair ranking system that measures real musical impact across multiple dimensions.

Transparent

Every signal that affects your rank is visible. No hidden factors.

Fair

Scores are normalized by genre, city, and profile type. No inherent advantage.

Score Computation

All signals are collected and normalized to a 0-1 scale

New profiles receive a temporary newcomer boost
Anti-gaming penalties are applied for confirmed violations
Ranks are recalibrated periodically for fairness

Disagree with your rank?

Every rank profile has an Open a review button that sends your breakdown to a human reviewer — one pending appeal per week. The reviewer sees exactly the same breakdown you do, and a penalty applied in error is overturned on appeal. Start from the rankings boards.
